My name is Don, I am from the North-East of England, and I enjoy writing.

I enjoy writing because of two goals I have for myself with my writing. The first, to communicate my ideas and emotions to others, so that they can feel as I have, or to feel deeply on something, think critically about a political or social issue, introspect their own conditions, or just to enjoy themselves and find pleasure in the writing I have produced. Second, I wish to be able to produce writing that I am truly proud of, that I can look upon and say ‘this is what I believe’ or ‘this is exactly as I want to express myself’. I find something powerful in being able to translate my thoughts into a physical, shareable medium.

This website mostly exists to collect together writing that has been published in other places, with some extra commentary and explanation that could maybe not be included in the original. Occasionally I may publish material that is original here.

I write about a bit of everything, but a common theme throughout most of my writing is social anarchism.
